Reports Suggest Penalties for People with No Health Insurance

A new report is recommending financial penalties for people who don’t take out health insurance until they’re over 30.

The independent report, commissioned by the Minister for Health, says young people should be encouraged to take out health insurance policies.

It’s recommending reduced health insurance premiums for people under 30.

And it wants Health insurers to offer discount premiums for full time students up to age of 23.
