The Taoiseach says he’s still confident that Ireland will be able to strike a deal and recoup some of its bank debts.
But Enda Kenny says if Ireland does get a refund of its banking costs, it will be after next November.
Enda Kenny says other EU countries recognise that Ireland had to bail out its banks, while other countries won’t have to do the same in future.
And he says Ireland could fall victim to perceptions that it’s now capable of living with its bank debts.
