Clare Gardai are urging motorists to continue to take extra care on the roads this lunchtime following severe icy conditions this morning across the county.
Officers in Ennis, Killaloe and Shannon reported several minor car accidents earlier due to the icy roads.

3 of the accidents happened near the Newmarket On Fergus exit on the M18 with another at the Dromoland exit.
Other accidents took place on the Sixmilebridge to Cratloe road and the Broadford to O’Briens Bridge route.
