A representative of Clare GPs, Lahinch-based Dr. Michael Kelleher, says the HSE’s Service Plan for 2014 is not credible, and will have a severe impact on frontline services.
The agency has slashed its targets for savings from cutbacks to medical cards, and is now looking for a spending cut of 23 million from this area, down from 113 million announced on Budget day.
