Defence Barrister Ronan Kennedy applied for the date to be moved in light of a recent failed bail application.

The 41-year-old architect is accused of murdering Elaine O'Hara on August 22nd 2012.

Her remains were found on Killakee Mountain in Rathfarnham last September, 13 months after her disappearance.

The trial will now go ahead on January 19th next and it's expected to last six weeks.
