Clare Fire Services have brought a blaze at the old Ennis National School Building under control.
The incident occured at about 10 o'clock last night when furniture at the back of the building became engulfed in flames.

No one was injured in the incident.
The scene has now been handed over to local Gardaí and a technical examination of the scene is expected to be carried out later today.
