Five Ennis Primary Schools have been honoured for their environmental awareness and tidiness.

St Anne’s School in Corrovorin won the 2014 Ennis Best Kept Schools Competition, while prizes were also awarded to St Clare’s, The Holy Family Senior, Bunscoil na mBráithre and Ennis Educate Together schools.
Mayor of Ennis, Cllr. Johnny Flynn joined teachers and pupils from the five local primary schools at an awards ceremony in Waterpark House in Drumbiggle.
Clare County Council hosted the competition which is aimed at recognising the contribution made by Ennis schools to the environment and the work undertaken to enhance the appearance of their buildings.
