A man in his twenties – who was being questioned by Gardaí in connection with the death of a Polish man in Athlone on Friday – has been released without charge.
The body of 23-year-old Patryk Krupa was pulled from the River Shannon on Friday night.

A 32-year-old man appeared in court yesterday charged with his imprisonment and assault.
All three other men arrested in connection with the death have now been released.
