Anti-war activist Margaretta D'Arcy is due in court in Ennis today, charged in relation to an alleged incursion on the runway of Shannon Airport.
The 80-year-old, who has already served a three-month jail term arising out of a separate protest at Shannon, is facing charges along with 61-year old Niall Farrell with an address in Oranmore, Co. Galway.

Both are alleged to have encroached on the runway at Shannon last September, in a demonstration against the US military and are due before Ennis District Court today.
