It's reported that talks are to take place between staff representatives and management at Roadstone Wood today, in a bid to end a strike at the company.
The breakthrough has come following an intervention by the Labour Relations Commission, and follows days of strikes which saw 350 staff picket Roadstone outlets throughout Ireland, including around 20 in Bunratty.

The row centres on talks over cost-cutting measures, and the restoration of bonuses which the SIPTU union argues should be returned.
