Dr Hillery Refuses to Rule Out Another Run for the Dáil

The son of a former Irish President says he "may" run in the next general election here in Clare.

Dr. John Hillery received over 10% of all first preference votes when he ran as a Fianna Fáil candidate in the 2011 poll.

He also campaigned on behalf of his cousin Michael who was re-elected for the party in West Clare in last month's local elections.

Speaking on Clare FM's Morning Focus today, John Hillery said another tilt at Dáil Eireann would be an intriguing prospect.
