One Million Euro For Clare Sports Facilities

Nineteen sporting organisations in Clare are to share just over one million euro in funding from the Sports Capital Programme.

Kildysart GAA Club is to receive 120 thousand euro, while Smith O'Briens and Kilmaley clubs will both receive slightly less than this amount.

Another 90 thousand euro each will be spent on sports facilities in Killaloe and in Parteen, while GAA clubs in St. Breckan's, Sixmilebridge, Whitegate and Ruan also receive money.

Funding also goes to soccer clubs in Ennis, Sixmilebridge, Tulla, Corbally and Shannon, as well as St. Mary's Athletic Club and other groups in Shannon, Loughgraney, Doolin, Clarecastle and Ballina/Killaloe.
