Celebrations to mark twenty years of the Burren College of Art begin today.
Irish-born American painter and printmaker and twice Turner Prize nominee, Sean Scully will receive an honorary Doctorate while a symposium will take pace over the course of the next few days.

As part of the events an alumni exhibition, entitled “the Middle of Everywhere", will open tomorrow featuring 40 past students from the US, Mexico, Canada, UK and Ireland.
President Mary Hawkes Greene says their thrilled with reaching the milestone.
