The Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council says it's of utmost importance that the cabinet sign off on funding for storm-related repairs at their meeting this morning.
The severe weather events of January and February caused €36.8 million worth of damage to public infrastructure, but so far only €16.8 million in funding has been allocated for repairs.

Clare County Council says it's awaiting a government decision, and it's understood that the local authority has been given no indication on when money might be released.
