The number of Clare residents signing on the live register increased last month.
An extra 79 people joined the dole queues last month, with increases recorded in all parts of the county except for North Clare, where there was a small fall.

The total number of people on the county's live register now stands at just under 8,800 which is over 1,000 less than at the same point last year.
CSO figures show there has been an increase in July of every year for which records are available, dating back to 2002.
