An increased number of Clare drivers were caught drink driving this past Bank Holiday weekend.
Gardaí say eight people were arrested on suspicion of the offence over the last few days, up from six during the same weekend last year.

The number of minor accidents was up, but there were no serious accidents in the county, despite high levels of traffic throughout Clare.
