The Northern Ireland prison service has received papers for Michaela McCollum Connolly to transfer home to serve out her prison sentence for drugs smuggling.
The 20 year old was jailed in Peru for six years for attempting to smuggle 1.8 million euro worth of cocaine, found in her luggage at Lima airport last summer.

She pleaded guilty alongside her co-accused Melissa Reid from Scotland.
It is understood the transfer request will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
