Businesses in Shannon have urged government agencies to capitalise on growth at the Airport, in order to attract new companies into the town.
The call comes as Shannon Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Chambers of Ennis, Galway and Limerick, welcome the recent enactment of the Shannon Group Bill.

The groups are now hopeful this will lead to the anticipated jobs boost, but say it's important that there is investment in the Shannon Free Zone to help secure this.
