Students beginning or returning to college are being warned of an acute shortage of suitable accommodation.
The latest rental report from DAFT.ie shows a shortage of homes for rent – and a lack of affordable properties.

It's after rents have gone up by over 10% nationally in the last year, while it's also emerged that there are 40% fewer properties available to rent.
Meanwhile, the report also suggests that rents in Clare have risen by 2.2% over the last year to €554 a month.
