The strike by SIPTU and NBRU members at the company started yesterday, with three more days of disruption on the cards next month.
Unions say they've had no contact from the company or the government since the strike started.
Barry Kenny from Iarnrod Eireann says the company is facing insolvency, so the pay cuts are essential.
