Parents and drivers are being warned to take responsibility for the safety of children on our roads.
A 'back to school' campaign has been launched after the number of children killed on our roads has more than doubled this year.

13 children under the age of 14 have died since January, compared to six for all of last year.
Road Safety Authority Chief Executive Moyagh Murdock says much of the safety message is aimed at children and their parents.
