Gardaí have appealed for the public's help as they begin efforts to track down those behind an attempted arson attack at Ennis Courthouse.
A petrol bomb was thrown through the window of the building's family law courtroom at around 3:45 this morning, activating the fire alarm.
Gardaí arrived on the scene and called the fire service who arrived within minutes.
The fire did not take hold, and the courts service says damage is minimal.
Gardaí are treating the incident seriously, a full investigation is underway.
It has been described as stupid and dagerous by the town's Mayor, Councillor Johnny Flynn.
