More than 3,000,000 Syrians are now known to have fled the civil war and become refugees.
The United Nations says it's now the "biggest humanitarian emergency of our era" – with almost half of all Syrians forced to flee their homes.

More than 190,000 have been killed in the conflict to date.
Meanwhile, the Defence Minister is to review the future use of Irish troops in the volatile Golan Heights region on the Syrian-Israeli border.
It comes after over 40 UN observer mission troops were captured by Syrian rebels at a border crossing yesterday.
