The NRA is being asked to give back land purchased from farmers for the Gort to Ennis motorway, which is being used as encampments.
Public representatives say access roads and right of way passages are being used as places to live by a number of families on the strech of road.

Fianna Fail Cllr Gerry Finnerty says its causing a number of health and safety issues and is wasting the time of Gardaí and the local authority.
Cllr Finnerty says the areas are now effectively no man's land and should be handed over to nearby farmers.
