The HSE is likely to give up in its search for a GP for Feakle.
After a third round of advertising, the deadline to apply for the post closed on Friday, and again there was no interest from doctors.

Officials have blamed a number of factors, including location and finances, and while no decision has been made, it's likely that medical card holders who were previously catered for in Feakle will be given their choice of doctors.
