Today marks 20 years since former Russian President Borris Yeltsin famously refused to get off a plane at Shannon Airport.
On that occasion he kept the then Taoiseach Albert Reynolds waiting on the tarmac – while his handlers refused to allow the late Taoiseach on the plane.

However a year before Yeltsin's death he returned to County Clare for a three day visit.
On this occasion he went deep-sea fishing off Liscannor with Willie O'Callaghan of Aran Islands Cruise – he says Yeltsin only had Sharks on the brain.
