Ryanair Apologises After Runway Collision

Ryanair has apologised to passengers after two of its planes “clipped” each other at Dublin Airport this morning.

Both craft were taxiing near the runway before 7 o’clock this morning when the wing-tip of one scraped against the tail of the other.

The Air Accident Investigation Unit will now look into the circumstances surrounding the collision – and Dublin Airport has since returned to normal service.

Affected customers are expected to board two replacement aircraft which will depart to Brussels Charleroi and Edinburgh later this morning.
