The CEO of Shannon Airport says it could be some time before flights to Rhode Island America are added to the schedule.
It's after the Taoiseach said last month a service between Providence and Clare's international airport would strengthen ties between the two countries.

Discussions have been held locally and with American officials and airlines.
However CEO of Shannon Airport Neil Pakey says no -one is jumping at the opportunity just yet.
