She has now had to be transferred to a specialist unit in Atlanta, Georgia.
Here, meanwhile, the Minister for Health and the HSE's Chief Medical Officer will meet with the Oireachtas Health Committee later to discuss the preparations that are being put in place to deal with any threat from the Ebola virus.
The meeting with Leo Varadkar and Dr Tony Holohan will look at ways to ensure the health system is ready to treat an outbreak of the virus in Ireland if it occurs.
