Councillors in Ennis are to address the cost of parking in the town as part of their next development plan.
It follows calls from Fianna Fáil's Clare Colleran Molloy to put a temporary system of one euro per hour in place to see if it would encourage more people into the town.

However, the County COuncil's Director of Services Ger Dollard says that would prove too complex, and cost the local authority a quarter of a million euro a year.
