Clare's Fianna Fáil TD is calling for a freeze of property tax valuations.
Deputy Timmy Dooley says rising house values in many areas will see people face extremly high bills in 2016 when the value of homes is re-assessed.

He says some people could even see their bills doubled, and is calling on the government to maintain the current cost until home owners have more money.
