Nine potential investors have carried out site visits with the IDA in Clare this year.
The figure, which covers the period from January to September, is the sixth highest of any county in Ireland with Clare trailing only Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Louth.

It's also higher than the figure for all of 2013, when there were just five IDA sponsored site visits in Clare.
1238 people were in full-time employment at 144 IDA support companies in Clare last year, down by 25 on the previous year.
