The number of people on the live register in the MidWest is at its lowest level since February 2009.
Newly released CSO figures show just under 29,800 people here were claiming some form of unemployment benefit in October, a monthly fall of 871 and an annual fall of nearly 3,800.

The fall is in line with the national trend, with the unemployment rate for all of Ireland falling for a 32nd month in a row.
