Aer Lingus insists that it remains fully committed to Shannon Airport.
The statement comes amid fears over the possible impact the withdrawal that Stobart Air will have on some of the airline's staff in Shannon.

SIPTU is to meet with management at Aer Lingus in the coming days – with concerns raised the Stobart Air's decision, which will see the end of Aer Lingus Regional services, could result in cutbacks for the 100 staff concerned.
The airline says it continues to operate a very busy schedule from Shannon the the UK, US and Europe.
