A number of shots have been fired in a car chase as police in France try to close in on the men suspected of carrying out the attack at a magazine's office in Paris – in which 12 people were killed.
Security officials say a Peugeot car was stolen in the Picardy region this morning by men matching the Kouachi brothers' description.

The French Interior Ministry says hostages have been taken – and is appealing for residents in the area to stay indoors.
