A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of her daughter in Co. Offaly.
Emily Barut, who had cerebral palsy and was in a wheelchair, was found dead at her home in Tullamore on September 15th 2012.

Dr. Bernadette Scully of Emvale, Bachelor's Walk in the town was arrested this morning at her home and has appeared before Tullamore District Court charged with murder on the date in question.
Judge Catherine Staines remanded the 56 year old in custody to the Dochas Centre to appear in Tullamore District Court again on Wednesday.
