Gardaí are investigating the theft of animals from a farm in Mountshannon.
Five heifers were taken from a field from Kilrateera between 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning at 8 a.m.

Gardaí believe that those responsible had transport to move the animals, and that they also walked them along the road.
People who may have witnessed the theft are asked to make contact with Gardaí.
