The IDA has reversed long-term decline in the number of people employed by its client companies in Clare.
436 jobs were created in IDA client companies here last year, though when jobs losses are taken into account, the net gain is 127.

However, there had been losses in Clare in each of the previous four years.
Figures released to the Dáil also show that the IDA sponsored nine companies to visit Clare last year, with a view to bringing employment to the county.
The figure is the eighth highest of any county in Ireland, and an 80% increase on the five visits in 2013.
