Overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick remains the worst in Ireland today.
The number of patients waiting for treatment has fallen slightly to 43, down from yesterday's figure of 46.

However, daily statistics from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show this remains 8 higher than any other hospital in the country.
The UL Hospital Group has apologised to people who are waiting on trolleys, and have asked prospective patients to consider going to GPs or the Local Injuries Unit at Ennis General.
