A man's body has been recovered from a canal in Galway close to where a missing Ennisman was last seen.
29-year-old Eoin Madigan, originally from St. Michael's Villas, was last seen in the city on the night of January 5th.

The remains, which have not been identified, were recovered this afternoon and have been transferred to University Hospital Galway where a post mortem will be carried out.
A spokesman for the Madigan family has said shoreline searches which had been planned for this weekend have now been called off.
