Public Representatives and residents in Ennistymon have vowed to fight Clare County Council over plans to demolish three homes and a business in the town.
Several hundred people attended a meeting on Friday night where a committee was elected to tackle plans by the local authority to build a new inner relief road and bridge.

It will be chaired by Senator Martin Conway, and Clare County Council has said that it looks forward to engaging with it.
The proposals – aimed at ending traffic congestion at Blake's Corner – were backed by local area Councillors at a behind-closed-doors meeting last week.
