An Ennistymon Publican says he's hopeful laws will be changed to allow alcohol to be sold on Good Friday.
The Licensed Vintners Association and the Vintners Federation of Ireland met with the Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald yesterday to discuss the issue.

The Minister says their concerns are under consideration.
Vintners Ireland Clare Chairperson Matthew Griffin of James Griffins Pub says tourists are often surprised to find doors closed when they visit the town on Good Friday.
And he says with the anniversary of 1916 approaching its important to remember the rule didn't always exist.
