The Health Minister says it's simply not possible to fast-track a new Emergency Department in the MidWest.
Minister Leo Varadkar was speaking as he opened a new Critical Care Block at University Hospital Limerick.

The 38.5 million euro facility will include intensive car, high dependence, cardiac care and day cardiology units, while it was also hold the new Emergency Department when that opens next year.
However, Minister Varadkar has told Clare FM that can't happen sooner and that the issue is not due to a lack of funding.
