Gardai are investigating after a man was stabbed and robbed in front of his wife as they walked home in Glasnevin in Dublin last night.
At around 11pm, two men approached the 61-year-old man and his wife on Glasnevin Avenue and demanded he hand over his wallet.

He brandished a knife stabbed the man three times, the two men then escaped in a car.
The victim was taken to the Mater Hospital and his injuries are described as non-life threatening. His wife didn't suffer any injuries and was treated for shock.
