Clare's Crime prevention officer is urging you to put an alarm on your home.
The appeal follows a spate of burglaries, in which nine houses were broken into across the county, in Shannon, Ennis and Quilty, in the past week.

Items from bikes to jewellery to a safe were stolen in these incidents while a number of the properties were ransacked by those involved.
Sgt Joe Downey says it's important to make your home as secure as possible to prevent it being targetted.
