The Anti Austerity Alliance says the arrest of TD Paul Murphy and three other activists will only ‘intensify’ opposition to the water charges.
Remains in Garda custody this lunchtime, after being arrested this morning in connection with a protest last november which saw the Tanaiste trapped in her car for a number of hours.

The Clare Campaign against Water Charges says it's concerned all protestors are being tarred with the one brush.
Niamh O'Brien says people are becoming more and more determined not to pay the fee when the first bills land on doorsteps in April.
She says the campaign shows no signs of dwindling here in county Clare.
