The Diocese of Killaloe has a new administrator – Fr Des Hillery – from Miltown Malbay.

Fr Hillery is the current Parish Priest of Nenagh and had previously worked as a teacher in St Flannan's College in Ennis.
The nephew of former President Patrick Hillery will manage the day to day running of the Diocese until a new Bishop is appointed.
The appointment has been made following the installation of Archbishop of Cashel and Emily Dr Kieran O' Reilly on Sunday.
