A leading Clare musician and popular Clare FM presenter is to be honoured with a prestigious award.
Eoin O'Neill has been announced as this year's recipient of the MÓRglór Award for Outstanding Contribution to Traditional Music in County Clare and will receive the accolade at a star studded concert in Glor later this year.
The annual award is named after Clare’s cultural ambassador and visionary, the late Muiris Ó Rocháin of the Willie Clancy Summer School and is sponsored by Glor to honour those involved in the development of traditional Irish Music.
Eoin O'Neill is well known for his bouzouki playing at many sessions throughout Clare and also for his Sunday Morning Show on Clare FM and the West Wind on Friday nights from 7.
