Three weather warnings have been issued across Ireland for later tonight.
Met Eireann's advising of a status orange wind alert -across much of the west of the country including here in Clare- with winds expected to gust between 110-to-130 kilometres per hour.
While, a yellow wind warning -with gusts ranging from 90-to-110 kilometres per hour- possible across Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Tipperary and Waterford.
The weather forecaster is also advising of a snow-ice warning with snow accumulations – of up to 3 centimetres likely – in Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo.
The first alert will come into place from 9 o'clock tonight.
