The head of IDA Ireland says he's confident their new strategy to attract foreign direct investment to Clare will pay off.
Martin Shanahan was speaking during a visit to the county, where he met with the CEOs of several Shannon-based companies, and addressed a Shannon Chamber event at Dromoland Castle.

The Industrial Development Authority unveiled a new strategy this week, which targets an increase of 30 to 40 per cent in the number of investments in regions outside of Dublin.
That would amount to a total of around 70 investments in the Mid-West by 2019, and Martin Shanahan says work to deliver this is already underway.
